About Codfish

Occupational health for the Police.

Police work is tough. As the service of last resort, police officers and police staff are asked to perform a wide range of tasks on behalf of the communities that they serve, often risking their own health, sometimes their lives.

Effective police forces need the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Occupational health services support officers and staff throughout their employment journey - from recruitment to retirement.

Codfish is concerned with the clinical organisational development of occupational health practice for implementing sustainable health. This means assisting organisations with their health risk management and developing appropriate health interventions to promote and protect work ability.

Occupational health is an integral part of any Force's health and wellbeing strategy.
